I am trained in Gestalt therapy, which is a form of psychotherapy centred on increasing a person's awareness, freedom, and self-direction. It focuses on the present moment rather than past experiences. Gestalt therapy is based on the idea that people are influenced by their present environment.
As a Gestalt therapist my aim is not to try and change you, but instead develop your self-awareness. Our sessions can be creative, if that suits you, where we can incorporate object work, role plays, sand-tray, metaphors and working with recurring dreams.
Gestalt therapeutic work has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of issues such as anxiety, stress, addiction, tension and depression.
